Greeting!
The Puerto Rico Chapter of the American Collage of Cardiology proudly invites you and your family to participate in our annual convention, entitled CARIBBEAN CARDIOVASCULAR SUMMIT 2008 to be held in the Ritz Carlton Hotel in San Juan on May 23 through 25 2008.
We have invited the John Hopkins School of Medicine and developed an excellent scientifi c program. Under the direction of Dr. Luis Rodriguez Ospina and our scientifi c committee the conferences will cover a wide range of controversial topics and the latest advances in the cardiovascular literature. As we did for the fi rst time last year the Sunday session will also include conferences for the CCA section. These information will benefi t cardiologists, internists, nurses, fellows in training so as family physicians.
This year the convention is dedicated to Dr. Luis Izquierdo Mora, a renowned family physician, educator, Former Secretary of the Puerto Rico Department of Health, and a Puerto Rican who has infl uenced the medical history of our
country in many ways.
Other attractions during the convention will be breakfast and lunch satellite conferences, a special session on Sunday for nurses and CCA’s on cardiovascular topics, social activities and the Communitary Symposium to be held on Monday May 26 for our patients.
During the weekend scientifi c sessions the attendees will also be able to visit the different pharmaceutical exhibitions, see the latest advances in cardiovascular products and interact with our guest speakers.
